Nahant Select Board OKs $5.7 million bond sale, debates $2.1 million Coast Guard windfall. Members Patty Carras, Pat O'Reilly and Rob Thibault voted 3-0 to sell $5,721,084 in bond anticipation notes to Truist Securities and to adopt FY27 water, sewer and trash rates, with trash rising 6 percent. Town Administrator Allison said roughly $2.1 million remains from the town's Coast Guard lot sale after two debts were retired, with the library seeking a $1 million match and sidewalks facing a five-year rebuild deadline.

Resident George Mahoven said his brother was wrongly ticketed for parking in front of his own house; Allison confirmed stickers are required only for beach and wharf lots, saying "that ticket should not be valid." Resident Kerry Collins pressed the board to pick one parking rule and stick to it.
